OMG! Just picked up some butter tarts. First time I've ever gotten store bought butter tarts with runny filling!!!! And the pastry is so flaky! They are amazing! Will always have a flat of these on hand from here on out!

These are without a doubt the tastiest plain butter tarts I've had in sixty two years.First time buying and won',t be the last.

We purchased your lemon tarts and both my husband and myself agree they were the best lemon tarts ever. The filling was moist with just the right hint of lemon zest and the shell was nice and flaky. Delicious!!!

Purchased your butter tarts at Giant Tiger and what a treat! Although I agree that the crust didn't have much taste as one other has written, it was the freshest taste of any commercial butter tart I have ever bought and there were also some crystalized particles in the filling but this was a minor issue for me. Not perfect but best value butter tart I would say and I wish I had bought more than package!

A lot can be said for integrity. There is no substitute for quality. These are things you don't see on reviews today. This is a sentiment you won't find very often on the Adsense articles that bleed through sites like trip adviser and Yelp.

So much more can be said of this shoppe than is marketed. I purchased their butter tarts from a retailer who shall not be named.

My experience was not good. I've worked with food storage enough to know that the fault was not in the product. I've only ever contacted a food manufacturer once before about the quality of their product. There's a reason for that.

In the retail market today, retailers have a very short relationship with their customers, and they don't stand behind their products like they used to. Sure, they have "guarantees" and "warranties", but those are contracts.

Those are the tidbits of consumer protection that tell consumers that their purchase shouldn't be garbage and if it is, "here's your money back". That doesn't protect consumers. That protects retailers from the wraith of consumers with otherwise legitimate complaints.

Grandmother's Bake Shoppe butter tarts are fantastic. Let me get that out of the way. First, there is that but more than that, I want to thank Michelle at Grandmother's Bake Shoppe for the experience I had in resolving the issues I initially had with the retailer.

In an age where people review products and businesses with terse four word sentences or worse threaten businesses with a vitriolic diatribe, I just want to express my sincere appreciation to Grandmother's Bake Shoppe for standing head and shoulders above the mark and setting a standard that rises to the top for consumers and business alike.

At the end of the day there is no substitute for quality. A lot can be said for integrity.

    Sincerely,
