Came to purchase a mobile phone. There was one person working in the department and while they were super helpful and nice, I was there for almost 2hours. Other people waiting left because they were tired of waiting and I felt bad and I found myself making conversation with them to make them feel at ease for waiting. If you are being treated, wonderful but if not... good luck lol
On Friday November 23rd, I went out to the best buy location at Weston Rd and The 401 to purchase a 2017 MacBook Pro. Our Associate Aubrey was exceptionally friendly and was full of knowledge. Because of his excellent service I'm looking forward to always coming back to this location. Also Aubrey walked us out of the store with a great deal! Also he greeted every single family member which never happened before until I met him.
Maybe I'm accustomed to the best buys in the states in which the associates bend over backwards to assist and ensure you get the best for you, so I find this best buy lacking.
They are simply sales people with no intuition. They speak to everyone like an idiot. They offer no real help unless they are interested in the particular product that associate had been tasked with selling.
I went in to purchase an inexpensive phone for an elderly woman with basic needs. The sales people wanted nothing to do with me because I'd said I didn't need an $800 phone.
I asked about the specs of a $150 phone to be informed, " that's just a cheap phone, I wouldn't know."
I passed that information on to the manufacturer. It's always good for them to know what store associates are saying to sell, or in this case to dissuade the sale of their products.
Not best buy behavior I'm accustomed to.
Every product and customer should be important as they contribute to that paycheck that is collected weekly.
I'll not be visiting best buy Canada again. I'll order from Best Buy in the states for my future needs.
Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! Great service, great people. Everyone is always willing to help even if they don't work at a particular department. They talk to like they've know u forever; a friend, even family. That's what it's like at this Best buy location. I love going there. Great atmosphere too and very clean everywhere
