The owner was very helpful and the service was great!
Bought a used Honda Civic and it was well worth the buy. Also, the owner of the shop was very helpful in finding the right vehicle for me.
Overall good and friendly experience: bought a used SUV here some weeks ago and was able to pick up the car a day earlier than expected with all repairs executed as agreed. After a couple of days I figured an issue with the steering (that was not identifiable during the test drive) that was repaired (part replaced) the next day without any problems.
Just a general note to those who purchase a car for less than $10,000, that is more than 5 years old and has more than 100,000km on the clock: manage your expectations, you will get a car that was used well and has natural wear and tear and most likely has issues that come with age. Download a used car purchase checklist when you go and check out a car and see / test drive a few cars before you buy one. If you have a bad feeling about the car or the garage or the seller, keep looking around, there are plenty of offers out there.
I just got back from a quick oil service and was told that the car is in great shape, so I am happy with my purchase from Bawel Auto!
