It is your typical Italian bakery with the deli section, fresh bread, desserts, groceries and even a warm food section, which was a nice surprise.
Only picked up a few desserts and they were all good. Not too sweet, which was perfect. Got 8 dessert pieces for $10.50, so the pricing is standard as well.
I would suggest keeping a couple more staff on the weekends. Waited for almost 5min to order and then it took a while to checkout. -

(April 6, 2021, 1:45 am)I have been going here for years. Many birthday cakes and special items such as cookies and food trays purchased here. Fresh bread baked daily, imported Italian products, gluten free and vegan cookies options that pair nice with coffee. Espresso bar on site and granita in the summers. Hot table is excellent, really good rice balls and a variety of canned tunas with beans...so good!

(January 14, 2021, 8:07 pm)La Rose bakery has been in the neighbourhood for decades, a fine Italian bakery that offers a huge selection of prepared take out foods as well as a great deli meat and cheese selection. also a great place to stop off to get that perfect cappuccino or espresso.

(September 20, 2020, 1:51 am)I've been coming here for many years, great customer service and the food & bread are always fresh. I love their pastries and desserts, no other bakery comes close to their chocolate cannolies, beigne and Bacio cake.
Their Bacio cake is super light, moist, creamy and it's never too rich or sweet. It really is the cake version of the famous Italian hazelnut & praline chocolate.
I also recommend their cappuccino from the espresso bar, it's the perfect balance of bold & smooth...
