So it was my first time eating at a Harvey's based on a friend from Montréal. I don't really know why it took so long for me to try it out - it's got quite a difference than other chain burger joints.

For starters, I had a Double Angus with cheese and the standard deluxe burger topping (Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Pickles, Ketchup and Mayonnaise.) I also made it into a combo with fries and a drink.

In regards to the Double Angus, I enjoyed the taste of it, but the texture made me have to do a double-take on be patties in the sandwich. The texture had a sausage-like feeling that I was not expecting at all. It made chewing it apart feel like they cooked it formed slightly together shortly after the beef came out of the meat grinder. It's weird at first, but one should be able to learn to ignore it once the unique taste kicks in.

Their fries, by the way, are pretty nicely done with the meaty feel without being too dry inside. Those are the kinds of fries I like and makes good fast food chains recognisable outside of solely being by the means of the quality of their sandwiches. A good plus.

Overall, give Harvey's a try. It's different in a weird way at-first with their Subway over-the-counter post-cooking topping station and the texture of the beef. However, it really is a place to stop by, especially if you have never been to it.

The staff are super nice here.
Has drive-thru but I always just walk in after/during events at the Congress Centre. Some days they get swamped because of conference events but they’re always lovely inside.
Vegan? Their veggie burger is so tasty. Lots of toppings and I always ask for pickles on the side.

Standard location, food is consistent, but the restaurant does need a renovation. Location is consistently busy with the local business community. Good place for lunch

Convention centre right next to the place makes this restaurant the busiest restaurant I’ve ever seen. Still the efficiency of the staff makes your experience the best ever..

Would love to be back again for the wonderful experience..
