(September 30, 2016, 10:31 pm)I purchased a 2000 freightliner a few years ago low mileage good deal ! Well from the day i got it the thing was hard to start having to use either to start every day ! The seller replace fuel system front to back a bit better but still the same issue ! I took thr truck to freightliner 3 times they too could not find the problem !!! Several thousand dollars in repair bills and lost time still the starting issue .
I went to these guys wednesday with a small fuel leak and he said he would get to the bottom of the start issue , well like a mad scientist he went to work and replaced the MAP sensor and truck started perfectly ???? He figured out the problem and fixed it in 3 hours or so ,something freightliner and two other garages were able to in 4the attempts ! Its good to finally find a good honest mechanic for a change !
