First :response to Emmie...'Avid Coin Collector'

When people walk into my store I always acknowledge them....I have learned in 20 yrs that customers prefer to be left to browse then have
someone 'hover over them'.....Yes, frequently I am on my computer
checking prices & markets (part of the business)...However I am always
available if a REAL 'Avid coin collector' needs my help... did you have a
specific complaint?

Second ; in response to 'Blaze'..(and his '50' interesting coins)

However, if people walk into my store and immediately say..
"I'm getting my car fixed nearby and am just here to Kill some time"
My response is usually "This is Not the waiting room for the car repair shop"...You were considering buying the 'whole Box of world coins for
$850?....Wow!....maybe I should have got off my computer!

what your complaint was/is?....maybe he just 'hates women'?..Wow!
...one might wonder if you have an ulterior motive for leaving these remarks...one also might just wonder.."if it's just that You Hate men!

Just a 'reminder'....While there is some value to Google Reviews please be aware that sometimes these reviews are placed by individuals with
ulterior motives.Maybe a friend of a competitor? Someone who wants to
damage a reputation?....My advice?.....Drop by and see/judge for yourself
what type of a person is running the store...I have been in this business for 25 years...Generally you don't last that long if you aren't honest, respectful, and courteous..I look forward to seeing you soon!...Cheers

I recently inherited some coins and jewellery from my family. As I am not a coin collector and don't need anymore jewellery I decided to keep a few sentimential pieces and sell the rest. After visiting 2 of the biggest 'TV buyers' and not being impressed with their attitudes, prices and frankly their store environments, a friend told me about Central Stamp and Coin on Dundas St. The owner was very welcoming and treated myself and my heirlooms with respect. I wasn't surprised when he also paid me more money than I was quoted at the previous locations. I am recommending Central Stamp and Coin to my family and friends. Definately worth the visit.

this was my first time in the shop and I went in because I was working in the area. Absolutely great shop, well organized and fair prices. James (the owner) was welcoming but also let me browse, still i felt i could ask questions and he was very helpful. I will absolutely return!
