  This was our very first time visiting the Temple.It is such a gorgeous building on the outside. The architecture is so intricate and extremely detailed.The artistry that went into creating this building is just amazing. the fine details, the tiny nuances, the sheer artistry.Take your time, look around the outside, take as many photos as you wish, and appreciate the beauty and magnitude of this house of worship.When you enter, as is customary with Hindu temples, you take off your footwear.You are not allowed to take photos inside the temple - so please respect that.Trust me, you will be tempted to take photos inside, because for all of the beauty and wonder you saw on the outside, the inside is beyond expectations.It is just beyond belief how beautiful it is inside. At every turn, you will be more amazed than before.There are a couple of gift shops where you can purchase great gifts at a very reasonable price. A friend of mine bought a gorgeous picture book for next to nothing. If I had known how cheap it was, I would have bought several for gifts.They have 'suggested donations" boxes throughout the building. Be a good person and donate something.This is a great place to visit, and the tour guide we had was super nice, friendly, and informative. You do not have to have a tour, but they are there to offer tours, so please accept one.I highly recommend visiting BAPS. You will not be disappointed. It is a Must See.I can't believe it took me this long to visit a place so close to home.

  Great place to pray and calm down from daily work life. Great place for kids to learn culture, language and respects to elders. Must to go place on weekend to refresh your life and faith with family. ???? Jay Swaminarayan ????

  BAPS Shri Swaminaryan Mandir is truly a architectural masterpiece that has become a must visit for any tourist visiting Toronto. Regardless of faith the unprecedented workmanship can only be truly appreciated when you visit. Located just off Hwy 427 in Etobicoke it is easily accessible. Once you enter the Mandir you will realize instant calmness and tranquility. The interior marble workmanship is truly unbelievable and breathtaking.

  The Temple was Amazing! This is something you have to see to believe, photos just don't do it justice. The architecture and intricate marble carvings were absolutely beautiful!! Visiting this temple is a truly unique experience! Just a few notes you are able to take photos outside the Mandir, but photography is prohibited inside. The sacred images were not visible during our visit, but we were still in awe of everything we were able to view. I would check their website for viewing information. The Mandir is open to all religions and there in no admission fee. You must remove your shoes before entering, they do have a room to store them. In the summer you must wear a wrap which is provided if you are wearing tank tops and or shorts.

  This beautiful stone Hindu temple is one of a kind. The moment you enter the campus there is a sense of calmness and peacefulness. Open to the public during visiting hours, the volunteers are extremely friendly and pleasant. There are no dumb questions!
