They truly appreciate her patient and kind approach, and it is having a positive impact on their perception and enjoyment of music! I highly recommend Jennifer!

(December 12, 2017, 1:22 pm)Upbeat Piano is a very professional and well run school. Scott Alton is an amazing teacher. He is always on time and prepared for lessons. The entire lesson is spent on my learning (not transcribing music or writing "homework"). He is enthusiastic and open to teaching me what I want to learn in addition to the necessary techniques and exercises to become a good player. He is sensitive and accommodating to the disability in my hand/arm. He is not only an excellent musician who "knows his stuff" but is also a proficient teacher. Perhaps most importantly the lessons are fun and something to look forward to every week. I would recommend him to anybody wanting to learn guitar or ukulele whether the lessons are for an adult or a child.

(May 16, 2017, 1:47 pm)Dave King has been (and continues to be) a fantastic piano teacher for our kids (ages 7 and 9). He has a very strong technical background and always ensures that our kids learn the proper technique. He also understands that each kid is different and may need different strategies to keep them engaged. His exam prep is also very thorough, which helped our son achieve first class honours on his Grade 3 exam.

(December 9, 2016, 12:14 am)Our kids have been taking piano with Christine for two and a half years and they love it! Christine is a fantastic teacher who has connected really well with our kids. She brings such a great balance of fun and structure to the lessons. She is patient with our kids and encourages them to be creative. The kids love the recitals and look forward to performing and to hearing all the other students. I highly recommend Upbeat Piano Studio.
