Selwyn Public School

I am a ninth grader, I used to go here when I was in grade 4 and 5, until I moved from TDSB to DDSB, when I was there, the place felt warm and welcoming, I was at the school back when Mrs. Samadeni was there, she was so funny. She made us remember her name by saying Some-Odd-Knee. In grade 5 I had Mrs. Baggs, that teacher rlly boosted my self-discipline and self-regulation. I remember when I was in her class when a squirrel would come by the class widow named Cashew, it wud come everyday. We wud feed her through a tiny gap in the window. The squirrel eventually gave birth in the window, for the babies my class had to take care of. I have so many good memories from the place, here I am 4 years later, I still remember the school as one of my top 3 (I have now been to 7 different schools) I miss the place, not sure what it is like now, I am sure it is no different.

Great teachers and a great environment for kids here. Teachers are caring and the Gifted Program here is pretty good.

EDIT: Since I've went here, the place has gone downhill. Most of the best teachers have left and the new principal isn't as good as the old one. I don't know firsthand what it's like here now but I've heard multiple accounts from my siblings and friends.

Had a great time visiting Selwyn with the Grey Cup. The students put together an amazing event for me. I was honored to be part of it. The teachers are doing a great job.
