A group of us attended a Tableau Essentials course delivered by John David. Excellent course and instructor. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Tableau or to learn new features from the newest releases.

The Tableau training course that I took with JD was excellent! I learned a lot about how to use the Tableau tool, and I will be implementing my learnings immediately to build a Tableau dashboard for work. My impression of the training was that it is very well thought-out. Contrary to other courses I’ve taken where the instructor is lecturing at you, this course allowed me to walk through the exercises with JD through hands-on training. I like this approach much better, and I look forward to taking more Tableau courses with JD. I also appreciated that as an instructor, JD was patient and willing to re-explain the steps that he went through in order to achieve desired results in worksheets and dashboards.

One more thing I really liked about this course too is that JD provides all of the steps that we went through in building worksheets and dashboards in a separate excel sheet for us to refer to afterwards. This is especially helpful for me, as I tend to forget the steps in building certain features in a worksheet and dashboard, and these steps will be useful to me as I build worksheets and dashboards in my role.

I must say this was an amazing training.

The trainer was very calm, clear and knowledgeable.

We used unylitics to train our IT stuff on maintenance and upgrades for our tableau server.

We are very happy with the service, thanks to Peder and John. I really enjoyed the training and we are much better prepared now. Excellent training!

On top of this they are clearly very knowleadgeable to all aspects related to Tableau: from back-end DBs to front-end tableau dashboard design. Very impressive!

I have taken the Tableau essentials at their Toronto office and the overall experience was very positive. The instructor was very professional, knowledgeable and had answered all my questions (some of them were beyond the course agenda).
The coverage material was just right for a two day course. I also want to thank the Unilytics staff who were so welcoming.
