Awsome home cooked, home made meals. Gravy was thick and very tasty but not salty. I have the burger with fries while my wife had the chicken and mashed potatoes. We both fully enjoyed the meals and left having to take the desert for home. Did I tell you that they have not only take out but home made pies and cakes? Well now you know. Staff was excellent and really enjoyed their job and helping you out. Restaurant was exceptionally clean and they were polite but very strict with the Covid-19 rules. I highly recommend this place as a must have eats when your passing through...
Ordered takeout...daily special was shrimp fettuccine. Mmm good
Breakfast was terrific, great coffee too. Even with the new precautions the restaurant is attractive and homey. Great service as always. Kate's has a widespread great reputation and it is well earned.
The service was very pleasant. The food was ample enough. You left not feeling hungry. The young lady that serve this was very courteous. We enjoyed our meal here. When coming to the bill? It was fair. I was pleased with it. I purchased a pie. That you might surprise later. Set me back $16.99 plus tax. That surprised me. However I go back. Probably never buy another pie. LOL oh, and by the way The pie was great.
Certain times of the day can be packed, we stopped in at a good time between lunch and dinner when it wasn't too busy and the service was excellent, even with the masks in place it was our first outdoor dining experience in a while and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of local food and goods for sale on the retail side. Highly recommend a visit on the way through, Mennonites know their woodworking and crafts!
