(May 13, 2019, 7:17 pm)Checked out Bakes by the Lake for the first time yesterday and we were WOWED! From the atmosphere, to the staff and of course the fabulous treats! I had the Lemon cake with an Almond Milk Latte & my hubby had the Black Forest. So yummy! Definitely a new fave!

(December 22, 2018, 5:00 pm)Such delicious treats. Their desserts are gluten free without that gluten free taste. We served them to guests who can eat gluten and they couldn’t tell they were gluten free. The staff is so friendly and personable. I’ve eaten the butter tarts, carrot cake, cookies and cream cup cake, peanut butter bar and everything has been so good. The best part is that they don’t just fill it with extra sugar to mask the taste. It’s not too sweet. It’s truly perfect and so nice to be able
to enjoy sweets again! -

(December 16, 2018, 6:34 pm)A cute bakery with delicious food and friendly staff. The food was nice and moist and had a good balance of flavour. Only a few places to sit, but I won't count that against them as it keeps things quiet and roomy for the small shop.
