Pioneer Restaurant

Awesome food, kind employees, constantly fantastic ambience. They charge reasonable prices and the food quality is very good. I recommend this place.

It's a friendly, family establishment. Fair prices and hot coffee. I miss when there used to be more of these kind of places.

After a Basketball game, read some reviews and chose the Pioneer Restaurant to go and have some breakfast with my daughter. The Breakfast was Great, came fast and was delicious. Service was very attentive. Wish there was a 4.5 STARS that you could give cause that's what it deserves. Only drawback is that it is quite outdated which does give it a nice character, but the bathrooms should be definitely refreshed and fixed up!

Not the first time I've visited Pioneer Restaurant, I've been here before a couple of times for their chicken souvlaki dinners. The place could use a few upgrades, besides that, the food is good and for a decent price!

However, I did notice that the lady plating our food this time was using her bare hands to assemble and separate the lettuce on the plate, which for me is a huge turn off. I am used to seeing the employees at restaurants wearing gloves when plating, or using tongs to grab the lettuce and toppings. I watched the lady plate my food and even caught her using the back of her hand to rub her nose! To me, this is unhygienic and is also big risk to spread germs and get sick! It's a shame I had to witness this, because I really enjoyed their food.

Such good food! A hidden Jem that you should definately give a try.
