  The chicken parmigiana sandwich was excellent with a good portion of chicken and not overly breaded. It was delicious. The alfredo was less enjoyable. The pasta was cooked perfectly and there was ample sauce but it was under seasoned. This is a common problem with cheese sauces. The parmesan cheese can't be solely relied on to provide the seasoning (unless you add a lot.) A hit of salt improved it substantially.

  Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!! Not only best Italian restaurant in Barrie, it's our new favourite restaurant!! So good!!!
  Eat in or take out all the food is divine!! Our favourite is the fetticine pescatore!!

  I haven't been to Italy.....yet, but the pizza served here is what I imagine it's like in Italy, delicious!!! Hot and flavourful. In generel the food is tasty, the service isn't overly friendly but I'm there for the food not to make friends. Highly recommend it!

  I visited with my sister last week: it's a lovely establishment with super attentive, friendly staff...which is why it pains me to go to a slightly negative place about the food.
  
  Ok: the lasagna was lacking flavor. Like, I know it's a fairly straightforward dish but there was no depth of flavor and I'm guessing it's due to a lack of seasoning. The sauce was bland and tasted like it was right out of the can. I mean damn, even I add a little garlic, chili oil, basil - something to my sauces! The zucchini fritters were all breading served with that tomato sauce (lukewarm) and again, lacking flavor. The standouts were the garlic bread - delicious and done in a way I've never had before. Crispy, chewy and soft altogether (like an Italian pretzel!) and piping hot! They should serve more of those!! Also, the rapini: not overcooked, garlicky, tasting of olive oil (seasoning on point).
  
  All in all, it's a place full of charm and we'll be back to try another dish along with desserts. This place has lots of potential to be #1 in Barrie just please layer the seasoning. But again, lovely staff.

  I go here quite often for lunch(so do a lot of my coworkers). Food is delicious. Sometimes I order the large portions to have enough food for 2 days. The garlic knots are delicious. The associates are very friendly and the owner is very nice and friendly as well. Anyone who wants a good Italian meal, come here.
