  This beach is awesome for swimming - the water is always clear and clean, and gets deep fast without any lake weeds. It doesn’t get too busy, and even when it is more busy there is usually a lot of room. The parking is free for Barrie residents which is a bonus.

  Great views and parking. Very rocky for the first 10ft into the water. Unfortunately its not perfect friendly, so you have to be careful bringing your dog. Please don't bring your dogs to the beach if they are aggressive to dogs or people, and keep your dog on a leash to avoid cause for people to call city By-law officers. they check by often now as recently people have been bringing dogs that are starting fights.

  Lovely little beach on lake simcoe without the popularity and crowds of centennial park. However, probably the most popular beach in Barrie outside of centennial park, don't expect it to be completely abandoned. The distanced parking lot and thick tree line give one the feeling of distance from the outside world, which is lovely. There's also less algae here than at some of the other small beaches in Barrie, so nice of you like to swim deep.
