  I first saw an ad for this sub chain while i Florida and dint get a chance to visit any location. To my surprise I saw a store in Barrie. Today I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Italian so I can compare it to the Italian at Subway and the assorted at Mr. Sub. The sandwich was excellent and was delivered to your table after you place the order at the counter.. It was flavourful without that manufactured meat taste you get at Subway. The bread was fresh and did not overwhelm the sandwich as it does at Subway. If you like hot sauce you will love their selection. The decor was colourful and very welcoming. The store was clean and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend you give Firehouse a try. You wont be disappointed. I intend to go back and try as many of the different sandwiches ad I can. Stay tuned for the reviews of different sandwiches. Meanwhile, you wont be disappointed with the Italian.

  Had the Medium Italian... Everything was quite good. The bun was toasted perfectly and the meat and cheese were plentiful. Staff were friendly. $10 seemed a bit pricey for the size. But overall a great sub and a nice place

  Went with my boyfriend for the first time on Tuesday. Staff were extremely friendly and explained how everything works. We waited approximately 5 minutes for both our large subs to be made. They were absolutely delicious and I was impressed with the portions! Will be going back soon

  Such a great place, as soon as you enter the whole team greets you, good lighting, and has the look and feel of a firehouse, nice warm ambiance. I love the large painting the fire truck on the wall. The subs are even better, I had the firehouse steak and cheese, but replaced the steak with mushrooms and veggies, the team was super nice and really accommodating.

  As soon as you enter the building the staff will greet you in unison. The decor is really nice, and mirrors that of a stereotypical, old school, small town fire station. The subs here are fantastic, I enjoyed a beef brisket combo and I was pleasantly surprised with the flavours and quality. The staff are very friendly and asked me if I needed anything while dining. They also have one of those touch screen soda machines with numerous flavours. I highly recommend Firehouse Subs!
