  Last night I had the pleasure of being a speaker at Chartwell Barrington in Barrie on the topic of “Living with Dementia”. Kristen did an amazing job of promoting and organizing the event - right down to the treats!! Their team was very welcoming to myself and the other guests. The Barrington is a beautiful residence filled with lovely seniors! I highly recommend them.

  My nanny and papa have just moved to the Barrington. They were a little apprehensive at first but seem to be settling in just fine. The staff was welcoming and kind. AJ the activity manager came personally to their suite to encourage them to participate in the daily activities. Thank you to all the staff at the Barrington for making a smooth transition into the next chapter of their life.

  Our dad had a wonderful experience at the Barrington. He moved in March of 2016 until fall of 2018. His room was spacious, bright and cheery. He was always greeted with a smile and the staff was super patient with him and willing to tend to the services he required. As the primary contact I can't thank the staff enough for all they did for our dad and for us. Dad is living in Long Term care now but we miss everyone at The Barrington including the lovely people who were residents. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Katherine

  My mother Jean is thrilled and so happy to be at the Barrington! From living in her own home for over 63 years was a BIG move for her. Craig was wonderful with helping with her set up and AJ, the activities manager was so welcoming to include my mom in all the events. Her first day there was a train ride ! Awesome ! Mom phones me everyday to tell me how happy she is. Great team at the Barrington ????????

  Gwen, my aunt, is very pleased to be living at The Barrington. She has a cozy, cheery room, lovely ladies at her dining table and she constantly talks about how good the food is. There is a wonderful, caring feeling when you enter The Barrington. The staff are terrific and no matter what you ask, it never seems to be too much trouble to assist you, or your loved one. I would highly recommend this retirement home.
