Snowfer cottage

This cottage is beautiful inside and out. It’s very large, and open concept. The owners have maintained and updated it too. For our large group it was great for everyone to hangout together, and have their own privet rooms. The master suit is very privet on its own wing off kitchen. The outside of the cottage is beautiful and very good to hang out and play outside. Lots of grass and seating. Bring your own propane tank! This place is perfect for large families and close friends to unite. The beach is down the road but not suitable for swimming. The park is great but about 15 minutes walking. I think for the price it’s worth the money.

We had a great time at Snowfer Cottage. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. There is plenty of room to sleep (we had a group of 16), spacious, clean and well kept. The cottage is a very short walk to the beach and in close proximity to stores. Charles (owner) was a great host and easy to work with. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely rent again.

We rented this cottage just for the weekend and we really had fun staying in this place. I could say that this is a home away from your home. A lot of rooms, the ambiance is so quiet. Perfect place to hibernate, an hour drive from Scarborough. 5 minute walk to the beach/lake. Shallow and clean water, though this is not the usual front lake cottage that we are used to rent we still enjoy walking around and see other views. And lastly we enjoy watching the sunset and sunrise. Definitely worth coming back.

We were a group of 17 persons renting the cottage from June 30 to July 03. We had a very good time. The area was very clean, inside as well as outside the cottage. Also, lots of space in the front and back yard, as well as on the deck. It is also well equipped inside. The only suggestion we will make is that the BBQ is a bit old and if it can be replaced, that will be awesome. I would certainly recommend it to everyone.

We had an amazing time at this cottage this May long weekend. We had 14 of us that went up and we were all pleasantly surprised at how spacious this place was. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc., and the outside was very well maintained. There were plenty of chairs on the deck and in the back yard which was great because a lot of our guests forgot to bring a chair for the campfire. There is a corner store that is about a 5 minute walk that had fire wood and ice readily available. All in all, we will definitely book this cottage again, the owner was so good to deal with and the place was great.
