(March 16, 2019, 5:46 pm)The grounds are beautiful. The trails are well maintained. The staff seem very nice and knowledgeable. This is one of my favorite conservation areas in the Toronto area. The sugar bush festival is always a good time.

Lots of activities included in the entrance fee making it a fun day for bigger families.
We are very excited to enjoy the other parks included in the unlimited entry package. This definitely is an added, very appreciated bonus. We get another opportunity to be in nature next week at Bruces Mill!
Free parking for online tickets is another deal breaker when you compare to other Maple festivals in our area! -

I booked in 2016, had to change the date and they were helpful to my 2 years worth of wedding questions and planning. It's like one-stop shopping at a reasonable rate for today's wedding market. A little pricey per-head but comparable to most other venues - but you get so much with the Kortright Centre - plus the profits go towards environmental conservation/education which I support fully!
The staff changed 3 or 4 times, which I didn't love but Naomi was incredibly helpful throughout the final stretch.
I love how they have contingency plans in case the weather isn't ideal - which it was cold, rainy and overcast on our wedding day but the glass house was such a beautiful place for the ceremony anyway. We had the reception down in the Forest Gallery which has a gorgeous ravine back drop.
I love the in-house catering and the food was delicious. I appreciate that the menu can be as simple or fancy as you choose to make it. The food was amazing quality too.
They have a lot of preferred vendors which was great for me. I used their connection to Chairman-Mills (25% discount on overall order!), Lamphouse Photography and Tiger8 Entertainment. I don't have a negative thing to say about any of these vendors.
There are so many possibilities here and options - definitely a venue to consider if you want an elegantly whimsical wedding. -

(December 23, 2018, 8:28 pm)We booked a Magical Christmas Forest evening for us and our son and we lived it. More importantly our son really enjoyed it. There were lights on trees, lit up animals, horse carriage ride, Santa's Hut and a picture, bonfire, hot chocolate, popcorn. There were quite a few activities for kids inside as well. The walk in the forest was beautiful.
