ALMA Windows and Doors

If you are looking for a front door, I’d defined recommend Alma Windows and Doors. The reason we went with them is because they manufacture the doors locally in Woodbridge (we visited their showroom and got an additional discount).

It’s the first time we had to replace an entry door - Alex made the process very easy. He answered all our questions, made valuable recommendations and took his time to explain the differences in Door materials, hardware, casing, colours and finishes.

I have an August Smart Lock which I wanted on a new door as well - no issues there. Got that installed as well. Also, I needed my doorbell moved to the brick wall - this was also addressed.

A few words about the installation which in my opinion is the most important part of front door replacement. We had Leon installing our door. Just from the way the guy uses his power tools you can tell he’s got years of experience. Very accurate, clean and professional door installation. Leon took his time to ensure everything works flawlessly and both my wife and I are happy. My wife is super happy with our selection and the new door so It makes me happy too.

An unexpected bonus - Leon provides us with a small bottle of paint that matches our new door colour for any future touch ups. Very thoughtful and useful.

It was a pleasure working with Yuri and Alex from Alma Windows and Doors to design and install our new front door. As you can see from the pictures - our door is a work of art! The installation technicians also did an excellent job and were very attentive to details. This door was a custom sized 42" wide door with a custom 28" wide wrought iron/glass insert - we got 6 quotes on this sort of door and Alma beat all other quotes by over $600. Most of the other door companies didn't even produce 28" inserts. The customer service after installation was excellent as well - both Yuri and Alex were very responsive to help resolve a few minor issues we had to our full satisfaction. I highly recommend Alma Windows and Doors and we will definitely use this company again in the future when it is time to replace old windows in our house.
