  Making Waves is amazing....my son is turning 6 in september and is already going on to level 7. They have small class sizes and are not waiting around for a long time to swim like in the community centre. My son loves going to swim with their instructors.

  Making Waves is simply the best swim school. For so many reasons, but it wouldn't be the same without the incredible people that make it so special. When my daughter walks in the door, Sabrina greets her like she's a rockstar and continually thinks outside the box to make things happen for our schedule. Alessia (her instructor) teaches like she would her own little sister - with patience, kindness and wonderful teaching techniques...my daughter started a year ago as a Sea Turtle and now soon will be going into Level 6. And Salia (site supervisor) not only knows my child, but knows what level she is, how she is doing and what she needs to improve to get to the next level. She's not just "supervising"...she's in the pool. I'm so happy I found them.

  We do not live close to this location.however, we continue to come here because of the amazing staff that has taught my girl...they are dedicated,patient and deserve to be commended. I am so thankful to Evan, Philip ,Danielle and Matt r. Who have all helped in her growth :) I recommend this swim school to anyone.

  My son Gabriel hasn't been at making waves for very long, however, he has already made it his home thanks to the environment that is established from the moment you walk in where you are always greeted with the biggest infectious smile from the receptionist Julianna. Her warm personality and her individual hugs makes her every child's best friend and her customer service skills are one of the best I've seen in a long time. The facility itself is always clean and in order when we arrive. If you arrive early or have younger children waiting with you they have thoughtfully created a child's corner where you will find toys for the children to play with. From observing the lessons I have noticed that all of the instructors are qualified and great with the children and at what they do. They have the utmost patience with the children and cater to their individual needs. Since the ratio is a 3 :1 the instructors are able to focus on each student for the full time they are in the pool. Jeremy makes the lesson fun for the children and his personality makes it easy for the children to build a relationship with him allowing them to build their skill level and confidence in the water and keeps them coming back for more. The instructors always give you feedback after every lesson so that you are well aware of your child's progress. Alana is one of the head instructors and is always there to help out any child in any level during her shift. She is always available for anyone in need and doesn't think twice about comforting a child who is having a bad day. She is there to participate in any session when her presence is needed and is the "glue" that keeps everyone together. I feel fortunate to have found Making Waves and even though we are about a 1/2 hour drive away, I wouldn't have it any other way.
