  I purchased a new TIG/stick machine. We received it Thursday afternoon and I set it up on Friday morning. First impressions was that it was well built and the components were 50/50 good. I was not happy with the ground clamp or the stinger. They work but are a little cheap. The regulator, that we aren't using anyways, was cheap as well. I really liked the TIG torch overall being a flex head. I ran some 7018, 6011, 6013, and some 6010s. I really loved the arc. The 7018s ran very well and the 6010s ran well as well despite it being an inverter. I really liked the TIG as well. It was a whole new world with pulse, frequency, and balance. Overall, it is a very nice machine with a lot of quality features for the price. With the extra features I was actually able to do an aluminum t-joint with no filler. Obviously not for strictural peices but a as a parlor trick. 10 pps and 150 on the frequency and romping the foot pedal so pulse on pulse.

  Hello ya'll. I thought I'd drop a few thoughts on my new CANAWELD CUT PF 45 D PLASMA CUTTER.
  After my terrible experience with the other plasma cutter I was expecting the canaweld to be much better especially for the difference in cost. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. My first piece was 3/16" flat plate cuts. It cut thru it like butter and it only required a very small amount of touch up grinding to meet my expectations of a smooth surface. An expensive unit BUT from what I've seen so far, WELL WORTH THE COST! Not having to be concerned whether it's going to work when I need it is worth the extra cost to me.
  Unless I needed more coffee before reading the User Manual, it wasn't clear on what AMP setting would be needed for what you're cutting and the thickness of the metal. But for the 3/16" plate I was cutting I put it on the 65AMP max and it worked flawlessly. One thing very nice about this unit is that it will set the air pressure automatically (I like this very much).

  Won't lie, bought welder in Mar 2017, never opened it , busy with trips to the cancer clinics with my wife from July 2016 till now , so when i did go to use found out i bought wrong welder, company offered to take back and sell me the proper welder. Didn't happen, so I lost out. Good products and CANADIAN MADE products. 3 year warranty.

  Phenomnal multi-process machine. Glad I bought the canaweld. It gets the job done very well. Super easy to set up and weld. I wouldn't live without it.
