(June 19, 2021, 3:49 am)Sammi's Yummys is a hidden Gem in Richmond Hill, I heard this place from a friend, saying that it offers the most authentic Liang Pi, so I called for takeout, my order included Liang Pi (red chily oil flavor), Xiang La Fen and Dan Dan Mian (noodle), the owner was super nice and the portion is big.
What I ordered all tasted amazing, the texture of the different types of noodle is excellent and most importantly the red chili oil is to die for! It may seem intimidatingly hot judging from the red color but don't worry it is more aromatic than hot. I have tried Liangpi in many places including in China and for sure this is one of the best, maybe THE best in GTA.
Make sure you ask how to prepare Xiang La fen and Dan Dan Mian because they are supposed to be served HOT.
I will come back a lot and order Liang Pi for summer. Right now only takeout available and can choose from boxed or bagged version. -

(June 13, 2021, 5:41 pm)I've tried lots of restaurants and home kitchens in the GTA. Sammi's cold noodle and Chinese burger are the most legit and original flavored, always freshly made and she never cheap out on the sauces and toppings either! They really reminded me of my hometown in Shanxi.

(April 3, 2021, 3:38 am)A noodle - like Chinese dish made from wheat or rice flour . And it's called " cold skin ". And Sammi 's Yummy Cold skin noodle is the best in town . A must try dish !!
