  Best salon I have ever gone to! Hidden gem in a nice neighbourhood. Ash took the time to get to know me since it was my first time to have my hair done there (I have found a permanent place to get my hair done! So glad!!). He has exceptional talent and I have never loved my hair so much in a long time! Highly highly recommend!! Bang for your buck!!

  Ash runs the nicest and most chill hair salon that ive ever been to! Great service and hold the margarine cause his haircuts are straight butta!!!!

  My wife has been getting her hair coloured, cut and styled by Ash for about a decade now. Prior to him, she went down to Yorkvillle to see two separate people (one for colour, one to cut and style). I never really liked the colour and cut that she got from the Yorkville salons, however I didn't realize just how much I didn't like it, until she started going to Ash. He is simply EXCELLENT at what he does!
  At first what didn't make sense was that he didn't charge the outrageous prices we were use to in Yorkville (and other salons), even though his work was clearly superior. Then we realized!!! He doesn't believe in making you pay for his "setup", so his salon is a very simple environment. No champagne in crystal, or interiors designed by the "latest, greatest" interior designer. No, just a simple setup, thereby keeping his overhead low, so he can keep his prices reasonable. And if your going to Ash, you're really going for his tremendous talent anyway, which is why its so pleasantly surprising that there isn't an equally tremendous bill awaiting you. I think now that I look back at it, all the "window dressings" of those big, so called "high-end" salons are really just a cover for substandard ability and over-inflated pricing!
  Yep, Ash is the best kept secret in Thornhill and I guarantee that if you go see him just once, you'll never go to another hair stylist (HAIR GURU really) for the rest of your life. Just remember what I always tell my wife before she goes - "Always make sure to tip talent well, so they know that their efforts are truly appreciated, and so they remember you... It comes in handy when you're in a jam and need to be fit in for a rush colour/cut..."

  I've been getting my hair cut and styled by Ash for the past 10 years. He has always treated me with the best service that anyone could ask for! Since Ash started Trim Hair Studio he has only gotten better! The place is very cozy and always so clean!! The prices are very very resonable. Ash has been so consistant with my hair cuts that I don't believe I have had a bad one! Ash is not only my hair stylist but he is now a great friend.. I will pop in time to time just to sit and chat with Ash and maybe get some free advice on things.. If your looking for a place that cares about hair, this is the place for you!!! Keep up the good work!
