  Quiet spot I go to for lunch. The chef is Incredible and well knowledgeable about good ingerdients and how to cook fresh food. Hes a passionate guy who I feel really cares about his customer. Try the home made burgers they are awesome also the fettucine Alfredo!

  A group of us meet most Fridays after work for a pint, since the Britt closed, we have moved around until we found Carbon Bar and Grill. The service is excellent, fries delicious and the beer cold...we have found our new pub.

  I sort of stumbled on this place quite some time ago when driving north on Henderson. A bit out of the way. Basically a local watering hole in a strip mall. Awhile back they had some super deals on Fish and Chips ... I mean really low prices but still great quality. They kinda blew the Fish and Chip places out of the water. Since then I still go back and of course the cost of fish has risen so prices have gone up. The Friday Fish special is $12 as of posting of this review. You get two fairly heft pieces of HALIBUT and some pretty amazing skinny fries. They are addictive.
  I have been back many times for the Friday special and still find it pretty darn good value for quality of the food. No issues I've had with service both the younger woman and the cook. Fast and clean so no issues. I have not tried their other menu items like the burger for example but suspect it will be also quite good. Worth the visit if you are in the neighbourhood. The dots on the plated photo below is pepper I added which I am told is quite common in England.
  
  Hey they RENOVATED... Great job and very clean look. Same great Fish and Chips...even with takeout ... and reasonable price. Not sure how he makes the fries without being greasy but he does it. I just can't eat them all in one sitting.
  This is kind of a Jewel in the rough... I gotta try the burger one day. I am told they are quite good.

  It was a nice place before the recent renovation and now it looks even more incredible. Is it possible that a renovation can even make the food taste better? Hits all the right spots. Happy to perform music there on Friday night's. Best fish and chips in Thornhill. Cheers!
