The Toston

Great first time experience to try out Colombian cuisine if you’re looking for a food adventure. The place is cozy and the staff and patrons are warm and friendly. Nice lady took time out to explain the menu, which enhanced the fantastic dining experience. Ordered the pulled pork combo to share as it was quite a big serving. Excellent Colombian coffee too.

Really great, authentic, cozy Colombian spot, so happy to find a place like this in Markham. We had the pulled beef toston with empanadas to start. Super delicious, and the sauce they provide on the side takes it up another notch of delicious! The couple that owns this place are friendly and gracious, they took the time to explain the menu to us, and how they would eat the dishes in Colombia. Would recommend and definitely coming back

The Toston is definitely Markham's hidden gem. The authentic restaurant serves great Columbian food and the price is great for the portion you get! I ordered the Toston with Chicken Breast and it was full of flavour! The Columbian cafe is owned by a very kind family with great customer service. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to try something different in Markham.
Bonus Tip: Ask for their amazing hot sauce.

Nice little place. The Combo #2 is great. The sausages also have a really nice flavor. Portions are generous.

This is cute little place!

Family-feel and you can tell they have regulars. I’ve never had Colombian food before but it was delicious! Would definitely come again.

Just a note that it is a small place so bigger groups may find it hard to dine-in.
