    My experience with Loomis Express is good. I was able to get my package on time and successfully delivered to my front door based on what is posted in the website (I guess thanks to my detailed delivery instructions and because I made an effort to follow up). Delivery person followed the delivery instructions very well.

    I'm rating Loomis Express only 4 stars because of the following:

    1. Customer Service mentioned that "Delivery Instructions" can only be added once the package is delivered in the local facility in Markham and cannot be added if the package is still en route from province to province.

    I'm not sure if this is because of how the system works (other couriers such as Canpar, JoeyCo, TForce can add instructions even before it gets to local facility) or the agent I talked to is just lazy to help me out (called in first thing in the morning).

    Either or, my experience is NOT so great there.

    2. All 5 customer service agents I talked to both in the phone and live chat are all NOT customer-oriented. I think customer service department is designed to have customer-oriented people and with my experience, Loomis Express customer service has failed this.

    Overall my experience with Loomis was OK but not so great; and this is purely because of how the customer service department handled me.

    I was very skeptical about getting my bike delivered on time when I read the reviews. But someone from Markham called early morning and i didnt pickup my phone. Left a voicemail and sent a text and i called back. They delivered my bike in 2 hours after my call to Toronto. Thank you Loomis. I think only people with bad experience are rating loomis and thats why the poor rating. I had a very good experience with them. Thank you to the person who called this morning and provided exceptional service.

    Hello, my name is Kimberly and I am the daughter of one of the Loomis Express workers that work in the Pickering/Ajax area right now. I just want to say that this is by far one of the BEST delivery services out there in Canada. My dad has been working at Loomis Express for over 35 years now and although this isn't his dream job, he is still very grateful to have a job, compared to many other people out there who complain about theirs. To all of you who have said that this company's service is bad and poor quality, well guess what. This is NOT a easy job; it takes time and there are many people who shop online. I would like to see you guys get up every day at 3:00 in the morning to get ready to go to work and return home around 9:00 in the evening. At this rate, there is no time to spend ANY time with your family or loves ones who mean a lot to you. I see my dad leave early in the morning for work and return home very late everyday and it breaks my heart since delivery people don't get paid that well. I think it's unfair that they get paid at minimum wage and they have to lift heavy boxes to people's door steps for a living. This job gets more harder when you have to deliver something and the people who ordered the item AREN'T GRATEFUL for what they got and tell the company to take the item back to the warehouse. Currently, I am 13 years old, and I may be young, but I am NOT DUMB to not realize that this job isn't easy and that there are many people out there who die while performing their duties. If you guys had experienced bad service with Loomis Express, then tell me your experience to my face. My dad means so much to me and to see you guys saying that this service is bad, I don't appreciate it one bit. It really breaks my heart to read some of the comments said and it's very disrespectful to say some of the things that were said. There are many people out there who order things online, especially during this epidemic so right now, this company is very busy, trying to give you the best quality of delivery and trying to deliver your order as fast as possible. Many of you guys don't realize the amount of time it takes to load up all of the payroll and items into your truck and then drive to an area that is far away from where the warehouse is. I'm not trying to be mean here, but honestly guys, gives people like my dad a chance. I know this company very well; I've been to their union meetings, and I guarantee you, they're trying to do whatever is possible right now to give you guys the best delivery experience ever, so please, be mindful of the comments being said and how they could affect people like me. To the people who do appreciate the delivery service from Loomis Express, let me just say that I really appreciate you guys spreading positively and not disrespecting this company. Many of you guys, as I can tell by reading your comments, are very quick to judge, when you guys don't even know how hard it is to do something. That is not acceptable, so PLEASE, be mindful of others when writing comments on ANY platform. My goal here is try to clear up things, in terms of, as a quote, "Bad Delivery" and please do not take this offensive. I just wanted to say that this company is working really hard to deliver things to you guys so the least you guys can do is be grateful for what you get.
