(September 4, 2019, 1:45 pm)My three kids have been part of Markham JKA for many years. Starting when they were 6 years old. Now teens, they have benefited from the tight knit culture of the club. Their Sensei is dedicated and knowledgeable. He does a fantastic job teaching his students the intricacies and values of karate in a friendly, motivating environment.

With the help of a combination of fun and discipline at this dojo, karate is now one of my favourite hobbies. I have had the honour to reach black belt as a result of thorough and consistent training, and I enjoy the style of teaching here at Markham JKA. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dojo to anyone interested in learning karate. Thanks Sensei Tom!
