Admin assistant, Rhonda, was friendly and efficient. Dr. Walji was very thorough, explained everything that he was doing and why it was important. He made sure that he completed all necessary tests before he came to a conclusion about what I needed and then explained everything clearly and patiently. I loved the frames he suggested and I bought 2 pairs of glasses. He spends time with his patients and does not rush you out so he can move on the the next person.

I have been seeing Dr. Walji since 2010. I got my first ever glasses with him, and what might have been a traumatic experience was made enjoyable and even a little fun, thanks to his sensitivity and sense of humour. Since then he has always managed to make me smile. His patience with my daughter, who got her first pair of ortho-k contact lenses at age ten, was remarkable. During the adjustment period, he and his staff were available any time we needed without charge, until she felt comfortable and free from what would otherwise have been a heavy prescription. It is that personal touch, and his commitment to getting things just right, that will keep me and family returning to his practice.

My family has been seeing Dr. Walji for over 10 years. We have always been impressed by his thoroughness in every examination. I have never felt like he was rushing me, whether it was determining my prescription or testing for conditions that I had no idea that optometrists could check, such as macular degeneration or glaucoma. I have always been impressed with how he remembers each member of our family and asks about them. He is genuinely committed to the needs of his patients, and will sometimes recommend a less expensive option if that is what he decides is necessary. He is a rare committed professional.

Very knowledgeable and helpful! Staff are very friendly and Dr. Walji is caring - he actually takes the time to get to know you and understand your concerns. Dr. Walji shows respect in how he treats his patients, accommodating schedules and not rushing patients. I am always impressed with how much time he spends explaining matters with respect to eye care and health generally, ensuring that patients have a solid understanding of the impact on their overall health. I highly recommend Dr. Walji and his clinic!
