Peninsula Resort

Nice quiet spot to enjoy with family and friends. Water was clean and very shallow where you could walk out hundreds of metres and still be comfortable for non swimmers. Can have alcoholic beverages respectively in red cups. A washroom is available to change clothes or relieve ones self. Drove right up to the picnic tables where we gathered and overall a comfortable setting. Will come back to get away and relax again!

The beach: warmer waters thanks to the shallowness of the peninsula. Sand is really fine, giving it a velvety feel. If it's a hot, summer weekend day, expect it to get crowded.

Facilities: no food or beverage establishments. Washrooms in dire need of an upgrade. Adjacent park has volleyball nets, picnic benches and lots of trees to provide guests with some shade.

This is what you call a perfect park. Lots of space and no one knows about this place so it's always empty. (could be a pro or con to you) Great place to bring the kids and/or have a bbq. (This place has a restaurant) Also no alcohol allowed which is great. The lake water is crystal clear, clean, sandy, and shallow. You can also rent a speedboat from inside the office and take it out for a spin. Admission is $20 for one car, but is totally worth it. (May have changed so call & ask) You can also book a stay here. As there are suites available. Strongly recommend for your next trip.

Excellent rooms & staff!!! My fiancee & I were greeted with a big smile and friendly welcome at the front desk by Jerry. He was very personable & courteous and offered "Anything you need or want, just let me know." Rooms and beds are clean, comfortable and spacious. We will be back again soon and will tell all of our friends & family about staying here! : )

The Peninsula Resort is perfect for families. It has a soft sand beach and the water is beautiful! There is lots of space and green areas for picnics or to play games and the pier is right there should you want to take a short stroll. Be warned, there is no music and no alcohol permitted.
