The Briars Resort & Spa

Nice place, it reminds me more of a B&B more than a Spa retreat as the accommodations are older in styling. Food was good, no EV parking but they were willing to run an extension cord out. Clean and friendly staff, unfortunately I did not get much of a chance to enjoy the rest of the facilities, so room and food is really all I can speak to.

What a fantastic place to visit during the winter! We loved everything about our stay - the facilities, the food, the nature around and great customer service. Resort supplied us with snow shoes and we had a great time enjoying the walks around the resort. Five stars.

Quiet, cozy, private ~ perfect for our mini getaway. Stayed in one of the manor rooms which was beautifully decorated and wonderfully spacious. The meals were superb with a good variety. Wintery walks through trails followed by hot chocolate by the fire made me fall in love with winter all over again. Enjoy ????

I will start with the good, the few staff we dealt with were very kind and welcoming. The pool and hot tube were nice and my husband and I enjoyed it during our stay. The place and our room were clean. With all that being said the place is old and it shows, my first impression when I walked through the doors was the smell, you are hit with this musty old basement smell, and you could even smell it on our clothes when we got home. Our room was a quaint room with a fire place (which we enjoyed) but the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds we have ever sleep in! It was super soft and had a bad indent, my husband and I barley got any sleep the two nights we were there because of it. We had got a deal rate as we were down for ice fishing so if I had to pay the full rate I would giving it less stars.
This place has great charm so has potential with some updating.

Great place for a quiet stay. Took my wife here for a lovely weekend retreat of pampering. There are many services to chose from and the dining is superb! Friendly staff and beautiful accommodations, complete with a games room, will keep you entertained or help you unwind from your every day stresses. Highly recommended.
