I contacted Wallace through a sailors forum that we both are members of. He has helped me to find the history of a boat model I am interested in , and the boat I am interested in is Pacific Northwest! It was extremely nice of him. When/if I need a surveyor or delivery in Toronto/Ontario area, I certainly know where to go.

If you can’t get Wallace then don’t buy a boat. His knowledge and expertise are worth far more than he charges. Wallace and Sharon are straight shooters. Their skills are unrivalled and their advice is sound. Understanding is knowing what you don’t know. Trust them. They know.

Wallace is experienced, thorough and scrupulously professional. His surveys are remarkably comprehensive with detailed notes, photographs and insightful valuations. You may not like to hear the bad news but he'll end up saving you grief and money in the long run.

I was introduced to Wallace about 15 years ago when I bought my first boat, a 28' sloop. I was impressed with his thoroughness and the depth of his technical knowledge. He helped me again when I moved up to a 30-footer and again when I moved up to a 36-footer. Each time, his technical knowledge and professionalism impressed me.

As a professional real estate appraiser, I have developed a good sense of the limits of factual knowledge and understand where years of experience and gut feel take over. This is where Wallace really impressed me. In the elements of a survey where certainty is unclear, he was able to convey information from the perspective of his experience and enable me to make a decision with confidence. His forthrightness and 'old-school' style make him a pleasure to deal with and distinguish him from most of the characters that you typically find in a boat yard.
