I hired Canadian Reliable Van Lines for a local move, within the same township. I was apprehensive based on their poor reviews, but made note that most of these were for long distance moves and remained hopeful. I certainly was not disappointed. While there were some minor hiccups that can be expected as part of a move (ie. we were not notified that couches needed to be bagged so we had to scramble to secure some plastic protection for our furniture, and the movers were an hour late); However, it ended up not being an issue for us. The movers were extremely efficient, genial, with a very reasonable rate and no hidden fees. The move from start to finish took only 4 hours, and not a single item was damaged. Not even a glass. This was the smoothest move (hah) I've ever experienced, and I 100% would recommend Canadian Reliable Van Lines for your local move.
