There truly is no competition around that can provide you with the flavour Village Shawarma packs in there dishes! After visiting Turkey a few years back and trying all of the street food I came back to bland Americanized middle eastern food. I finally found the flavours and spices I’ve been missing! Drop whatever you are doing and go visit this location! You will not be disappointed! Get the pocket and you’ll be back for more before you know it! Quality of food and customer service is A1! And don’t forget to actually look around the restaurant to see how much effort the owner brought into creating a nostalgic space to showcase his culture! “A modern shop in the streets of Cairo” vibe is exactly what I got when I stepped in! Loved it! So do yourself a favour and stop in!

(April 12, 2022, 12:38 am)This was my first time here. I ordered the double chicken pockets with a side of fries. It was delicious! The chicken was tender, warm, and flavorful. The pita was soft and seemed fresh. The sauce is really good too. The fries are well seasoned and have a nice flavor as well. The owner's son was also very pleasant and professional.The portion size is perfect and the price is good! I would choose this authentic experience over more commercialized places (like osmo's) any day!

(March 19, 2022, 2:04 am)First time trying out Village Shawarma. Got a shawarma platter today. Only complaint is the sauces were not enough, next time I would ask for more sauce on the food. Otherwise very tasty and a different and good taste very different from the commercialized chains. Food is also not super heavy like other places, it's just right. Prices are also decent. The staff was VERY friendly. Would definitely go back! :)

(March 8, 2022, 2:55 pm)Went there yesterday for dinner. The customer service was amazing. The owners served us and they told us their story and explained the food and ingredients they use and where they come from.
They really put a lot of effort into their food and cooking and the dishes speak for themselves. I had their chicken shawarma plate with fries and the chicken was so soft and tender and tasted great. The fries were really crispy and not over salted. They tasted great
Their sauces are really tasty. I had the garlic and hot sauce and it really completed the dish. Will definitely be coming back
