I moved from Kitchener to Brampton just over a year ago and although I'm not a fan of Brampton, this area has some great paved bike and walking paths. By Loafer's Lake, there's a soccer or cricket pitch as well as several exercise stations.
My fiancee and I go bike riding along here and stop at the stations for short workout intervals.
There whole area is lush with trees and vegetation. There are numerous species of small wildlife as well as birds; species vary from geese to ducks, Cardinals to Woodpeckers. There's also a few small lakes and streams occupying this pristine area.
Along the paths, you will encounter all manner of happy, friendly, species and nationalities of humans.

Great bike paths, clean, close to all things natural, friendly hikers, joggers, cyclists. And excellent exercise machines stationed along the path. Just bring a small yoga rubber mat and some resistance tubes to use on some of the equipment. It's hard kneeling or laying on steel plate. Also, bring sanitary lotion or wipes.

It's great for walking. If you cross the bridge you can go around another loop with stationed workout equipment. The water is murky and it stinks now too unfortunately. Geese everywhere. And poop lol. Lovely trees.

Great places to relax due to shady trees. Chipmunks. Woodpeckers. It's nice.

Stop feeding the birds food from the grocery store, filled w preservatives and synthetic ingredients...it's not good for them and when they pooh, it creates changes in the environment.

Beautiful lake with a trail circling it. The water in the lake has abundant natural life! We spotted numerous turtles, fishes, and a cute little river otter! There are also beautiful birds in the woods that surround the lake. Be sure to take a pair of binoculars useful to spot wildlife.

Love going to loafers lake park. It has a huge playground for the kids to play and a nice long walking path with workout equipment on the path. Different machines to try out. They also have a nice big soccer field.⚽ Rec center ???? and Library ????
