(July 8, 2020, 8:23 pm)We have been getting our Cantonese take-out from here for about 2 years now. Great place, delightful owner and awesome tasting food. We call in advance as they are super busy on a few days and the food is ready when I get there.

(July 4, 2020, 6:25 pm)This was our first experience with the Golden Star Chinese restaurant. We weren't interested in sit in but take out. Quite frankly, Brampton is desolation when looking for good Chinese takeout, at least until we discovered this place. It's only one mile from our home and the food is surprisingly good for the price. Brampton is desolation no more.
Update: July 3rd 2020. We've ordered from Golden Star several times throughout the Wuhan flu lockdown and we're seldom disappointed. Yesterday's meal was sumptuous and this is what we had leftover after stuffing ourselves. All for $55 (tax included). -
