I have learnt music in the past, but Vidhya has opened my eyes and heart to new way of learning and enjoy the nuances of music. She seldom settles for anything but perfect. I’m blessed to have her as my guru.

(February 12, 2021, 11:12 pm)I am fortunate to have found the Dhyaana school of music. Ms. Vidya Nataraj is an amazing teacher who makes the art of classical music accessible to people of all ages. I was an absolute beginner when I started with her about 6 months ago and I am surprised by how far I have come in a short period. She’s made me believe it’s never too late in life to start learning music. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, innovative in her teaching methods, and most importantly genuinely cares about helping you get better. She is also wonderful with kids. My daughter who just turned six, started learning from her recently and she absolutely loves her music classes and always looks forward to her next class.

Vidya Nataraj is one such special soul. I will unequivocally vouch for her to anyone ready to embark upon a beautiful musical journey. Further, I must add, unlike many teachers she never stops learning herself and finding innovative, tactful and fun ways to engage and train young musicians in this rigorous art form.

(April 16, 2019, 6:54 pm)Vidhya is a great teacher and a mentor. My 10 years old boy and 8 year old girl have been learning karnatak classical vocal. Kids always look forward to their weekly class as she makes it very interesting. She is very thorough has s great patience and passion to teach young kids. My kids are lucky have her as their teacher.

She breaks down complex lessons into simpler forms that are easy for students of any age to comprehend. She also has immense patience to teach and brings out the best in each of her students. My daughter has been learning from her for several years now, and I can see her progress over the years. I consider myself fortunate to be associated with such a wonderful teacher and person.
