First time I had to do this for a parent, found Considerate in a google search. Bruce was great at tending to all our needs and taking us thru the whole process. He detailed all the steps and costs with no hidden surprises. Considerate was recommended to my sister and i were at a loss as to what to do with the quick passing of our Dad, a meeting was set up with Holly and herself and Bruce were very Helpful and compassionate with all of our needs. Considerate was recommended to us by someone from the facility where dad passed....I don't know if I can share that name....we hadn't really thought about funeral arrangements because you always think you have more time....Holly came and met us at the facility and talked us through the steps and what to expect. She was always a phone call or an email away.
They were so helpful and mindful of our wishes and made us feel so comfortable and were extremely "considerate" to our needs....I would recommend them to everyone ❤️

My brother passed away quite suddenly in May of 2018. I live out of town and was unfamiliar with St. Catharines funeral services, but based on on-line reviews and information from their website, I chose Considerate.
I was so blessed to have found them. Bruce and Holly are so very kind and compassionate. Our first meeting with Bruce was easy and comfortable, with no sales pressure whatsoever. He was always available and continued to help us beyond the initial days. This is what cremation and burial services should be, and often are not. The costs today in this industry can be exorbitant. Their services are fair and reasonable.
I highly recommend.

My mother recently passed away after a lengthy illness. We knew that time was somewhat short a few weeks before, so, in keeping with Mom's wishes, we researched cremation services. Luckily, we found Considerate Cremation and thereafter, Holly. She was genuine with her compassion and she truly made the process much easier. She conducted herself with professionalism, all the while showing that she cares about everyone that walks through their door. After my mother passed away at Hospice Niagara, Holly made sure that everything went according to our plans, including offering a few minutes of privacy with Mom before her last journey. That was perfect, given the circumstances.
As for the business part of things, I'd just say that we found the prices to be very reasonable and never felt pressure to buy anything extra or hurry payment to them. All in all, a first class company!
