(September 19, 2019, 10:50 pm)I can't remember when I first heard of COBS, but it was long before they opened in St. Catharines. I honestly thought it sounded like an non-sustainable business. But, now they've opened here, I've been three times in about a week, and I definitely hope they're here to stay.
The bread is baked same day. Anything they don't sell goes to Community Care. It's all preservative free, and it's all some of the best bread (and other baked goods) I've ever had. -

(July 31, 2019, 3:49 pm)The smell of this bakery hits you the second you open the door! Always fully stocked, baked fresh all day! Their cinnamon bread is raisin free and absolutely to die for. Excellent service and I LOVE that they donate all their goods at the end of the day to Community Care!

(July 9, 2019, 7:48 pm)Definitely what we have been missing in St.Catharines. The service was phenomenal and the scones were fantastic. Staff was really friendly and inviting. The display of bread and baked goods was really appealing. I would suggest going here before you try any other bakery.

Enjoyed their scones, and we also have had a few of their other pastries and cinnamon bun but for us the shining star was their sourdough bread loaf. They have managed to achieve a sourdough loaf that has that slight tang but isn't dry or crusty like so many ive had (which are good as well but I have never had a loaf like this) dare I say... moist? I found it perfect for sandwiches. They also have slider type buns that have a bit of sweetness to them, very soft. Outstanding. The pastries were good but the bread will bring me back.
