(May 29, 2018, 10:37 pm)My initial review was harsh but warranted. Since then I've received a lower interest card, line of credit and a more suitable personal account that costs $15 a month. Much better experience with BMO these days.
Original review: Being a loyal customer for over 25 years means nothing to BMO. I currently have a high interest BMO credit card that I've had since it was Mosaik. You would think that after 10 years of using it and the loyalty you have for them, they would auto approve you for a low interest, no fee, basic value credit card. Nope. Not at BMO. They'd rather you keep your high interest credit card so they can reap the benefits when times get hard and you have to cash advance and pay 22% on that and purchases. Plus, the fees for that and my regular banking account are atrocious. There is no eagerness to help you financially at BMO. You're just a cog in their wheel. I'll be leaving them very shortly. -

(December 27, 2016, 8:47 pm)ATM machines are down, crappy hours, credit card issues. The people that work here are amazing though. Extremely nice and helpful staff at this bank. Only bank I have ever banked with and because of these consistent issues time to explore some new places
