This is an awesome park to visit for a quick walk, for a family get together or to play with your dog (my lab puppy highly approves as well!). It can be pretty busy in the summer, but it is a historical site and there are quite a few amenities as well.
Be careful if you're there around dusk, there's lots of wildlife in the area and you may cross paths with a skunk or other animals. After all, it is their home. -

Excellent facilities.
Washroom area was clean.
Free parking.
Close to highway.
Very safe for children as well.

(May 3, 2019, 10:36 pm)Really beautiful park to look at the river and just to enjoy greenery. The restaurant is awesome. Pricey about worth it..the stout burger is delicious and fish & chips..1 beer 50 bucks.. not bad for a great view and quality food. Lovely staff.

(April 24, 2019, 9:34 pm)Great spot. Brock monument is always worth a trip up. A great place for families to picnic or BBQ. The stay of the Bruce trail is also worth a visit. Good place for locals and tourists alike.
