Hugely boosted my English skills, especially in writing - within a year my English mark went from an 84 to a 92

I have been a client of Mavin tutoring from grade 9 to grade 12, and I am very happy with my choice. I have had Michael for all of my English courses, and one of his recommended tutors for my math courses. I am yet to be disappointed, they are always reliable, on time, and very helpful and knowledgeable with their appropriate subjects.

Overall, I am very happy with the service provided, and would recommend Mavin Tutoring to any body who needs a bit of help in school.

Results of Mavin Tutoring - Misha Lobov

While I had no tutoring with Michael Mavin I was doing poorly on my English and hanging around the 60% average; however, after almost a year of tutoring with Michael Mavin I began to go above my class average into the high 90%.

Before Mavin tutoring I was struggling in properly completing my English assignments. I constantly had grammar mistakes and hardly even knew how to wright in correct paragraph format. Things quickly changed when Michael Mavin in a short amount of time greatly educated me and pulled me up into the 75% and shortly after into my high 90%.

To this review, I would like to add a few more comments. Michael Mavin has one of the greatest ways of teaching.
    1. He is always engaging the student in fun conversation and work.
    2. Always knows how to explain complex content for the student.
    3. He can always sense if a student does not understand the content.
    4. Always knows how to improve the quality of students in weak areas (i.e. formatting paragraphs properly was a weakness I had).
    5. This list can go on forever.

Overall, I am grateful for the perfect and great education that I constantly receive from Michael Mavin. It has opened hallways of new opportunities for me, which I did not see before. If you have many problems with English, then I strongly recommend that you do Mavin Tutoring.
