November 2022:
I highly recommend this AK Auto Repair - and here's why:
My Honda Odyssey was making a noise which was very concerning. I visited several other auto repair shops in the area to determine what it was, and how much a repair would cost me.
All 3 of them told me that I needed a power steering pump, and these quotes were in the ballpark of $300 for the part + an hour of labor - $400 in total.
At AK Auto, my last stop, I was expecting the same, however, the certified technician quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty O-Ring. The cost INCLUDING parts and labor was under $40.
My car was repaired in less than 1 hour - the noise was gone, and the steering is once again soft and smooth.
I really like the expert service and fair, honest pricing of this shop and will definitely return for any other issues I might have in the future.
February 2023:
This the second time I visited AK Auto. I had a concern about my breaks. Asif checked them out, and my concern was unfounded, so he did nothing. However, it was time for an oil change, and Asif did that and in no time, I was out. It's important to mention that he got me into his shop within hours of my asking for an appointment.
I am very happy I found a mechanic who I can trust and who is fair. -

(January 31, 2023, 5:17 pm)After I found a pool of fluid under my truck, I got advice that the cost was going to be pretty expensive from other mechanics. I called Asif and sent him photos of the leak, he told me to get it towed to his shop and he'd fix it for me at a reasonable price. Which he did. Asif did a Great job and did not cost me an arm and a leg. Great atmosphere at the shop, I would recommend this place to everyone.

(November 29, 2022, 4:42 pm)got me in on a Sunday without notice i didn't make it but he still offered his service when no other shop would I just needed to see why my engine light went on because.i needed to go to toronto but I would definitely say the guy I spoken to is awesome I can't get into another shop on a weekday without 2 week notice thumbs up from me
