What an amazing company. I took a beginner class a year and a half ago, and here I am, still taking classes, performing on stage. The wonderful thing about OITP is that it builds community but also gives its improvisers endless opportunity to practice performing. If they want to. It's a gift to the community.

I have been taking classes and workshops as well as performing with Oakville Improv for the last three years. I had not touched a stage for 20-something years before joining. I will say it has been transformational for me. Any and all improv you can be a part of will help you in more ways than you can imagine. From thinking on your feet to problem solving to basic listening skills, all of these are heightened and strengthened through improv.

Oakville Improv offers a safe and fun way to learn the basics as well as a path to do more, if you choose to pursue it. I highly recommend trying a workshop or even just a Monday drop-in, you won't regret it!

Oakville Improv shows you don't have to go downtown Toronto to see amazingly funny, professional improv shows. Classes have top notch instructors who are not only brilliant in their craft but accepting and encouraging to their students. I have taken many classes and have seen many shows and I highly recommend Oakville Improv. They put the Fun in Funny!
