The working environment is very clean and has a very nice homey feel to it. The curriculum is rich and children will learn alot with great attention to deatail.
Mrs Perry the owner and my boss is a very compassionate , intelligent and hardworking lady. She treats every child as an individual and loves them like her own. She always goes out of her way to make sure the school runs smoothly and beautifully.
She puts so much hard work into the working environment and has so much love for her school. Me as a teacher have learnt so much and enjoyed every minute of working here. I highly recommend children attend this school as your child will be taught a rich Curriculum manners and will be looked after with great care and gentleness

All 3 of Our kids went to Glen Abbey Montessori and have graduated. They all left the school with a high level of confidence and all were performing well above grade level in both math and English. The teachers are most concerned with delivering a well rounded education to the children encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth. Under the direction of Mrs. Perry, the whole team is dedicated to bringing out the best in all of their kids. We owe this Montessori a debt of gratitude for giving our kids a solid base which has helped them achieve success in the years that followed.

Glen Abbey Montessori School (GAMS) is an excellent beginning for our little one’s entry into the education system. Claire Perry and her staff are dedicated to their students and the students’ parents. Our child had never been away from home and was nervous about school, but with the support provided by Mrs. Perry and her team, our daughter became excited about school.
Glen Abbey Montessori inspires children to use the skills they have learned in school into their everyday lives. We have seen so much growth in our daughter’s vocabulary and phonetic awareness. GAMS also fosters independence in students in their everyday tasks, such as putting on jackets and shoes, and feeding oneself. Our daughter has taken pride in becoming more independent and GAMS is responsible for this tremendous confidence boost.
Glen Abbey Montessori school provides an inclusive environment in which students feel safe and comfortable taking intellectual risks. Teachers encourage students to become active participants in their learning so that they can master the skills being taught. Through routines, children feel comfortable knowing how the day will progress and benefit by the structure of the day. Montessori teaching strategies employed by staff provide a rich hands-on experience to learning.
I would highly recommend Glen Abbey Montessori School to anyone selecting a school for their child as the staff are enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best learning environment for all children.
We can't say enough good things about Glen Abbey Montessori School, and have been so happy with Mrs.Perry and her team that we have enrolled three of our children for the complete program.
Our eldest started Grade One in public school this year and his math and reading in particular are especially strong. We are very pleased.
Though routines are set, expectations are high and order is maintained throughout the day, this is still a school filled with warmth, care and compassion. A place where we don't feel the smallest bit of reluctance or guilt when we leave our children in the morning. Where end of month work is sent home and includes adorable google eye crafts, among journals filled with printing practice and examples of their time working with 'the bank'. We're confident that they are learning, and building wonderful relationships - resulting in an enjoyable day for all of us.
We will be sad when our time at GAMS comes to an end.
