  We enrolled in the Learn to Camp program here at Bronte Park and it was our first time to do overnight camping with my family. I think it’s good to learn about camping basics and especially for the kids so they also know how to set up a tent, build a campfire, how to deal when they encounter wildlife among other things. I particularly liked that we did not have to bring any camping supplies other than our personal bedding and food because part of the program is to introduce you to the camping essentials. Very useful to know before you purchase for your own so you won’t end up spending more for items you won’t really need (which usually becomes the case when you’re a newbie).

  We love visiting the Bronte Creek campground in the fall. The weather is cooler making the camp fires that much more enjoyable. The leaves are falling and the landscape shows off it's best highlights. Two of the campground loops are closed making for wonderful walks. Less crowded, less noise, less hurried...less is more.

  Absolutely LOVE camping here! You would never know you were still in the city. Very clean, the sites are great. We have our favourite ????
  Pet friendly and during the day you could bring the kiddies over to the park side for a swim in their VERY large pool and visit some animals at the pet farm! Along with the activities that they have throughout the season ????
  Would definately recommend if you want the secluded camping experience but close enough to the amenities of needed.

  Don't expect to have clean bathrooms if you go camping in the fall. No soap for at least a week in men's bathroom. Laundry room and showers dirty. People leaving food messes in sink after doing their dishes. Had to move campsite because seasonal camper did not abide by radio free and was very noisy chopping wood at 3 am etc. No one on duty all week until Friday. On a good note, camping sites are very nice and office staff (when they are there) are very helpful.

  The most noticeable thing you realize about Bronte Creek Provincial Park when pulling up to the park entrance is that you pay based on the vehicle for day-use, regardless of number of occupants in the vehicle. Our fee was $17.00; Daily Vehicle Permit.
  
  There are many walking/hiking trails, a 1.8 acre outdoor swimming pool (extra fee unless you’re 3 and under), a children’s farm and play barn, lots of picnic areas, and a model airplane field just to name a few things.
  
  What a big difference it is temperature wise relaxing under huge trees within this beautiful park compared to standing out in the open.
  
  We’re here for a multi-family outing of food, refreshments and relaxation!

  People reading this should note that this review is about our DAY visit or Day activity area. (not camping which this business listing is about).
  
  The $17/ car is a great value to families who fill their vehicles and plan to spend the day.
  
  We also offer seasonal and annual permits -- valid at ALL Ontario Provincial Parks.
