Susan Tarshis saved my life. I was having difficulty processing a traumatic situation and I felt really alone because I thought no one could relate to me. Susan made me feel like she truly and sincerely understood everything I told her, from my point of view. It didn't even feel like she was telling me that because she was agreeing with me or whatever, it was that she was truly seeing things from my view. Thanks to her, I was able to love again (I have a very happy relationship), I am able to make friends and I am able to go through my daily life with confidence and motivation. My parents no longer have to worry about me as much as they did, and my family can rest easy at night knowing that I can rest easy too. I feel like she brought the part of me that I thought I lost through the trauma back, stronger and happier than ever.
