(April 9, 2018, 4:33 pm)Wanted to share my thoughts on Cindy's service as a colour consultant who also owns the Whitby Shores store. First time hiring a consultant from other friend's experiences. The good thing about my situation is that Cindy offers expertise in both the BM paint and in choosing colours as a certified consultant. What she provides in her consultation was very in depth and helpful. Because of the lighting in our house, we were always challenged in what we ended up putting on our walls and what we expected to see from pictures. Cindy came in and spent 2-3 hours with us, going over each room to select the colour. From our own personal feedback and tastes including pictures we've seen on the internet she was able to understand our vision. From there, she considered lighting within the room, décor, linens and future changes/enhancements. Because of her expertise in being a BM store owner, she was able to select colours from swatches to match our vision. A few days later she provided us a portfolio with swatches of the selected colours, a colour coded dashboard per each room, a multi-page write up of each room and colour selected and reasons why that colour was the best choice, information about the BM paints and some paint samples. Throughout the project, she kept in touch asking how it was coming along which showed a personal vested interest to ensure we were happy with the outcomes, this also included some personal visits (as we are not too far from the store) to drop of paint but to also check in to see how we were doing. She offers a rebate from her rate if we purchased the BM paint from her store. All in all, we were very happy with our first experience with a colour consultant, and it was all due to the service Cindy provided.
