(March 18, 2021, 1:12 am)Took my automatic watch for a service as the watch was having issues. The watch was diagnosed quickly, a fair price was quoted and the work began quickly. Within a few days the watch was back together and running perfectly.
I was really impressed that photos of the disassembled watch were provided as proof that the service was actually done, something that you don’t see from other places.
I will definitely be using Renown in the future for all my mechanical watch service. -

(March 17, 2021, 1:14 am)Originally went to Renown for a simple battery change on my Movado. Previous battery change serviceman had opened the back and put in a battery and tried a 2nd and gave it a few minutes and told me it was broken and that it's not the battery. Renown took the watch to his workshop in his basement, opened the back cover and came to me within seconds and said the watch had leaking battery issue and he had to change components of my watch. He showed me exactly where the damage was and what would be changed and the exact charge plus when it would be ready. The most amazing part of Renown Watch Service is that he will fully take your watch apart and send you a picture of the watch and its internal components laid out. I am impressed with his service and he will be servicing my watches going forward. Bravo!
